About the FDP:
P.G. Department of Commerce, Rani Channamma University, Belagavi is organizing “One Week National Level Online Faculty Development Programme on Research Methodology in Commerce” from 21st to 27th May, 2020. The Faculty Development Programme will enlighten the teachers, research scholars and students about the whole process of research from identification of research problem upto writing the report. It follows the standard research methodology pedagogy
The objectives of the Faculty Development Programme:
• To enable the participants to formulate an apt research design including defining a research problem, review of literature, identification of research gap and setting up of objectives.
• To incorporate quantitative and qualitative research methods, impart capabilities for formulating and testing of hypothesis.
• To comprehend appropriate statistical software packages used in research.
• To develop capacity for planning and writing thesis, publishing and updating the research.
About the University: Rani Channamma University is a State University established by the Government of Karnataka. It is the largest university in Karnataka with 385 affiliating colleges, three PG centers at Vijayapur, Bagalkot and Jamkhandi and also a Sangolli Rayanna First Grade Constituent College in Belagavi. It has 19 departments, which offer PG and Ph.D Courses. Erstwhile, it was PG Centre of Karnatak University, Dharwad established in the year 1982, in 2010 it became an independent university.
About the Department: The P G Department of Commerce was established in the year 1994. The department is committed to meet the expectations of stakeholders. It offers Post Graduation and Doctoral Programmes in Commerce. The department emphasis on fostering students as qualitative human resources by imparting in-depth knowledge on contemporary business issues with a focus on conceptual learning, analytical skills along with personal, spiritual and social values.
