E-SERVICES at RANI CHANNAMMA UNIVERSITY

The Rani Channamma University, Belagavi had been initiated many e-services whichever directed by the state Higher Education Department and Council also the ICT initiatives of the central Govt. The ICT Initiatives pertaining to the Academic, Administrative and Student perspective web portals/e-portals had been brought in use. The list of E-services operates at University is listed below:

·         SAKALA is a legislation which assures timely delivery of government services to citizens by the Government departments concerned. This basically means all the services that are covered under Sakala can be got without paying a single rupee as bribe and in time. The total 49 SAKALA services are offered at RCUB namely: Change of the College, Readmission, and Name correction in the marks card as per SSLC/PUC, etc. The services are available at the portal http://sakala.kar.nic.in/officer/

·         SEVA SINDHU provides a hassle free service delivery through reduced turnaround time, minimized visits to avail services and reduced opportunity cost. Seva Sindhu also aids the department in simplifying the processes of the department by removing cumbersome, time consuming and non-value add steps, thereby enhancing the citizen service delivery mechanism. The total 14 SAKALA services are offered at RCUB namely: Change of course,Change of combinations, and Study Certificate,etc. The services are available at the portal https://serviceonline.gov.in/karnataka/

·         e-Spandana is a unique solution for addressing Grievances of Citizens. District Administration has setup a 24*7 Control Room to receive Public Grievances. Once the grievance is registered in PGC cell, citizen will receive an SMS in which a Web Link is provided to monitor the progress of his Grievance. ·         State Scholarship Portal is a karnataka government portal, where Social Welfare Department, Tribal Welfare Department, Backward Classes Welfare Department and Minority Welfare Department disburse Scholarship or re-imburse fees of the student through the State Scholarship Portal. The service is available at the portal https://ssp.postmatric.karnataka.gov.in/

·       e-Office is a workflow based system that includes the features of existing manual handling of files in addition to more efficient electronic system. This system involves all stages of working in a file, including the diarisation of inward receipts, creation of files, movement of receipts and files and finally, the archival of records. With this system, the movement of receipts and files becomes seamless and there is more transparency in the system since each and every action taken on a file is recorded electronically. This simplifies decision making, as all the required information is available at a single point. It envisions a paperless office, with increased transparency, efficiency and accountability of the organization. A revolutionary product aimed to make office work like never before in the history of Indian Governance, is based on the Thirteenth edition of Central Secretariat Manual of Office Procedures (CSMoP) of the Department of Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances (DARPG), Govt. of India. ·        E-governance in Examination Management the portal starts from the process Admission notification to announcement of Result. available at http://rcub.ac.in/English%20website/examsec.html

·         e-governance portal by using the page given link/portal egov.universitysolutions.in. After registration stake holder will be allowed to login into portal. Stake holders such as University officials, staff, college principals, teachers and computer section technical staff are allowed to use the portal. Modules and access are available as per the user defined in the portal.

·         PFMS(PUBLIC FINANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM): is to help Program Implementing Agencies (PIAs) in filing of expenditure, transferring funds, advances and its settlement. The process of feeding the day to day transactions as recorded in the cash book of the PIA on the PFMS portal is called expenditure filing.
