Geography seeks to understand where things are found, why they are there, and how they develop and change over time. VISION: To promote innovation, research grants activation, international collaboration and academic research to advance enlightened citizenship in a global context for peace and stability of the people, country, and the globe. MISSION: To assist in making significant progress in the creation of geographically based scientific truths via the following activities: Implementing disciplinary and interdisciplinary research in the natural and social sciences at the regional and international levels, with a focus on our planet's geographical perspective and sustainable development. Preparing undergraduate and graduate students to address the difficulties inherent in the ongoing development of geospatial science while offering dynamic and rewarding educational experiences.
