1.      Master of Commerce

M.Com History of the Dept.:

Rani Channamma University, PG Centre, Jamkhandi has been established Department of Studies in Commerce (M.Com.) with 40 students intake at Old Mini Vidhan Soudha Building, Jamkhandi in the year 2017 by the Rani Channamma University, Belagavi through its notification as on 7^th August, 2017.  The Department of Commerce started functioning from the academic year 2017-18 in the School of Business Studies. It offers two years (four semesters) Post Graduate Degree in Commerce with specialization in Accounting and Finance, Costing and Taxation, HRM and Marketing, and Banking & Insurance. The course is being designed, updated and imparted to develop conceptual and analytical skills of the students in line with the industry requirements. The department will be organised workshops, conferences, symposium, and seminars in the department. In addition to that NET/ SLET remedial classes also conducting in this PG Centre, Jamkhandi.

2.      M. A. in Political Science

History of the Dept. of Political Science:

Rani Channamma University, PG Centre, Jamkhandi has been established Department of Studies in Political Science with intake of 30 students at Old Mini Vidhan Soudha Building, Jamkhandi in the year 2017 by the Rani Channamma University, Belagavi through its notification on 7^th August, 2017.  The Department of Political Science started functioning from the academic year 2017-18 in the School of Social Science. It offers two years (four semesters) Post Graduate Degree in Political Science with specialization in Government and Politics in India, Public Administration, International Relations and Comparative Government and Politics. The course is being designed, updated and imparted to develop conceptual and analytical skills of the students in line with the political scenario. The department will be organised workshops, conferences, symposium, and seminars in the department.

3.      M. A. in English

History of the Dept. of English:

The Department of Studies in English is newly established in the academic year 2019-20 at Rani Channamma University, PG Centre, Jamakhandi. Presently the department has well qualified faculty members with the good strength. The department is vibrant with teaching-learning, co-curricular, extra-curricular activities throughout the academic year. The department functions with a holistic purpose to provide a congenial atmosphere for the overall development of the personalities of the students, and hone their skills and maximize their potentials to compete in today’s global world.

4.      Master of Social Work

History of the Dept. of Social Work:

The Department of Studies in MSW is newly established in the academic year 2019-20 at Rani Channamma University PG Centre, Jamakhandi. Presently the department has well qualifies faculty members with more no. of students. The department is vibrant with teaching-learning, co-curricular, extra-curricular activities throughout the academic year. The department functions with a holistic purpose to provide a congenial atmosphere for the overall development of the personalities of the students, and hone their skills in Social Work perspectives and maximize their potentials to compete in today’s competitive era.
