ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಪರಿಚಯ :


This year Rani Channamma University celebrates decennial year. It was established in Belagavi on 9th September, 2010 by upgrading the erstwhile Karnatak University Kittur Rani Channamma Post Graduate Centre at Belagavi which was established by the Karnatak University, Dharwad. The first batch of Post Graduates came out in 2012-13. Over the years, the university has produced thousands of students who have achieved excellence in their career and social life goals by making the alma mater proud. It has produced many educationists, scientists, writers, managers, entrepreneurs, politicians, teachers etc. Achievements and pride of a University is measured by that of its alumni; they are the brand ambassadors of the University. The Alumni Association brings the alumni together on a single platform and develops synergistic plans to aid and improve institutional endeavors.



ಗುರಿ:


• To bring all the alumni of Rani Channamma University under a common forum to share their experience and expertise among all other members of the association.
• To strengthen ties between the institutions and the alumni, so that the alumni can participate in various activities including cultural and social activities.
• To seek the cooperation of alumni to establish national and international linkages including fellowships and admissions.
• To conduct academic activities like organizing seminars, conferences, workshops and endowment lectures etc.
• To establish alumni endowments for granting scholarships, prizes and medals to the students who excel in their studies.
• Recognizing and honoring the outstanding alumni who are into social and community service.
• To bring out magazines, souvenirs and newsletters highlighting the activities of the University and its Alumni.
• To collect funds through subscriptions, contributions, donations and volunteerism from members, philanthropists, governments, universities and other institutions for furtherance of the above objectives.
